Hi...right now, I have my screen set to sleep after 5 minutes of inactivity. Is there a way to make it so that you have to enter a password in order to wake the screen?

If not, I figure the next best thing would be to set up an all-black screensaver (so it resembles the all-black screen in sleep mode) and simply check the option to require a password to wake the screensaver. So if the answer to the question above is no, then can anyone provide a link to download an all-black screensaver?

Thanks.

There currently isn't a built-in way to set a password to when waking a screen. A black screensaver, however, will do nothing to prolong the life of your lcd screen because the backlight will still be on. You will need to set a password protected screensaver and set the display to go to sleep to both lock your computer and to prolong the life your display.
