Hi all. I have the strangest problem. I went to run Cocktail and it couldn't run the daily/weekly/monthly scripts as they're not on my system (10.2.6 on G4 400 Gigabit 640mb RAM). So I installed a fresh Jaguar OS 10.2.6 onto an external firewire drive and the same thing happens there.

BUT on my Mac at work (G4 733 QS) I installe Jaguar from the same CDs and all the scripts are there and Cocktail runs. I've had loads of help from Kristofer Szymanski who writes Cocktail and he doesn't understand it either. The files simply aren't there - the aliases to them are but not the actual files. Has anybody else had this problem? There's no point in me re-installing the OS as the same thing happened on my external drive. I've checked permissions and done a fsck -y to no avail.

Any help appreciated!!

Tim.

Update: I managed to fix it by re-installing the BSD subsystem from the CD which replaced the missing files. Just thought I'd leave this post on here in case it happens to anyone else.
