Got my account configured with Apple Mail and it retrieves the headers of my messages fine, but the bodies of some of them don't come through. It says:

The message from (xxxx) concerning (yyyy) has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it.

Even if the account _is_ online, it still says that. What could be the problem?

Also, it says that all my mail was received on '09/3/1970' despite showing the real date in the body fine.
What gives?

Yes, it is set correctly.

What could be up with the not retrieving bodies problem though?

Try setting up your accounts again within Mail.app and see how it goes...
