Last week OS X and "classic" weren't working together at all. Lots of printer problems and the like. So the Mrs. boots into OS 9 and then gets a box asking if she wants to "Initialize" the disk. The size was 1.9 GB so I knew it was the OS X partition, since the other partition that size is OS 9. I know that it is small, I was going to try to make a go of it so I wouldn't have to backup everything and repartition. Anyway, I checked it with Disk First Aid and got errors such as: "Missing File Record for File Thread, 482,18" (two of these) and "Missing Directory Record,9742, 396" and "Invalid Extent entry, 10194, 416". Disk FIrst Aid can't repair these errors. What utility could and how do i get the partition to mount? Or should I just chuck it in and re-initialize? The only thing on the OS X partition is the OS X software itself; I moved most of the software to another partition. Could this be related to the "how low can you go on disk space" thread I read earlier here? Sadly, I am unable to tell you how much free space was left on this partition. It wasn't much.
