Hi,

I've got a problem when running an old word version (2001) in OSX. Basically, the (os9) menu bar is not working (Except the FONT menu). The different "pulldowns" get highlighted but no menu appears... Now, I know a good solution would probably be to get a newer version of word, but that is (unfortunately) not possible...

Has anyone experienced this problem before?? I'm grateful for any solution/suggestion...

Does it happen in any other Classic apps? If no, then it's a problem with Word. If yes, then it's a problem with Classic. You'll be better able to troubleshoot it once you know where the problem is.

Yep, It's only word. Other office programs (Excel) works just fine. I suppose a reinstall would help?

Maybe it's a good ide to go and nag the boss to get him to buy a newer office suite anyway...
