Anyone remember a little extension for OS 7+ called Async audio? It loaded right after the mac started booting and played any AIFF file during the booting process, way cool.

I guess the OS X architecture doesn't allow anything that advanced to happen early in the startup process, or am I wrong?

Oh this nostalgia for stupid little things like this and Gravité...
