How can I burn an image for Virtual Pc to recognize?

Here's the problem I see now. I have unpacked my .rar files it and now I have 2 files. WxPVOL_EN.mdf which is 770 MB and WXPVOL_EN.mds I can't burn that from my Mac and was told I need Alcohol 120% which I have on the Windows PC to burn it.

Ok to make everything worse. I need this to work so I can install an OS on Virtual PC. Now, I have 2 computer on a network. 1 with Windows without a cd burner and my Mac with a cd burner. I have both files unpacked .rar files on both computers. I have alchohol on the windows PC, but of course I can't open it on the Mac. Is there anyway I can burn the image that I need on the hard drive on the Windows XP then send the files through my ftp to my Mac then burn it or is there a program that will recognize those files? Any suggestions? Please help me out.

Can that alcohol app save to other filetypes ? like ISO ?

You should be able to access a Windows CD from within VirtualPC.
