For some reason command-shirt-3 en command-shift-4 no longer work. I tried running diskwarrior 3, repair permissions, run various cron jobs, but nothing works. Anyone here any idea what to try next??

Also, the menubar clock no longer apears when selected in sytem prefs

I'm running 10.2.6 with the latest updates.

System is otherwise ok - no problems at all!!

If the clock isn't working, then you are having a problem with the SystemUIServer. It is likely that the SystemUIServer also controls screenshots.

Possibly. Try searching for SystemUIServer here. I know it's been discussed here before. There might be a solution.
