Rebuilding device trees

If I attach a new device (usually a drive) to a solaris box, I typically issue a "drvconfig; devlinks; disks" to rebuild device trees, etc (altho these has been apparently replaced by "devfsadm"). Does anyone know if there a comparable command for BSD?

Have you tried that on your BSD box? They are very close to the same thing? (Or are you talking about your Mac?)
