Hi there,

I am currently updating some MACs to OS X 10.2. Ist mostly worked quite well. Exception my G4 Quicksilver 800 with 1,5 Gigs of RAM. After deinstalling 512 MB RAM ist worked well ...

BUT:

On G4 - 400 I cannot boot from the OS X install CD. I just get an X directly after starting the computer with pressed "c" key.

Another G4 Quicksilver 733 with one Gig of RAM doesn't work either. I can install everytrhign from the first CD. After the restart, I am normally asked for the second CD but the MAC doesn't restart at all. The screen keeps beeing gray. There is no error code or other icon onscreen ...

I hope that anyone can help me ....

Thanks a lot,

Stephan
