Dude, if you spent even half the effort it has taken you to start this thread and the one in Networking (including responding to yourself) to just casually glance at the quick-start guide that I'm sure came with your router, you'd be up and running.
1. take a deep breath
2. your router is platform independent
3. it has web based configuration
4. you WILL need to do stuff
Go to the address specified in the quick start, something like 192.168.1.1. Configure it.

Just to be clear: nobody helped you at all. Certainly not "in a good way". You did it all by yourself, and that's thanks to me. So you're welcome. Glad I could help.

read carefully. I was talking about everytime I ask for help here, no one complains about it. people always help, because they want to. and thats good, I do the same , you should do the same too. don't be mad for stupid questions, because maybe they are "stupid questions" for you but "real problems" for others like me. always think ahead of the situation, and help, because life is a big circle my friend, and someday you will be asking for help, and somebody will say, "what a stupid question".see?... and about the quote... if I help my self, how do you help me then? ignoring me? insulting me? with sinism?

I always LEARN from everybody every day, and that's the meaning of LIFE...

and thats a lesson for you.
