Is there any program/hack I can install so I can select a folder to display images in a "thumbnail" view or even filmstrip mode like Windows XP?

I'm a switcher and that's about the only feature I have yet to duplicate in Jaguar.

Thanks.

For a window in icon view you can go to the Finder menu View->Show View Options and select Show icon preview in the View Options dialog. You can also increase the size of the icons for that window there.
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

Also check out GraphicConverter, just drop a folder on the GC icon in the dock to browse all the images in that folder, GC is an essential app if you have lots of images, it gives you bigger previews and much more options. Great app...

PathFinder?

It's supposed to be the power-user's Finder so maybe it can do what you need. And if not, I think the developer(s) are open to suggestions.
