I have searched this forum and found a lot of stuff about this but I can’t find what I need by looking through it. Here’s the deal I have a HP DeskJet 5150 plugged in via USB to a G4 PowerMac Dual 1GHz running OS X 10.2.6. The PowerMac connects to the Internet and such through a linksys router. I am trying to get the HP printer to work when using my 15" ALBook G4 running OS X 10.2.7 it is also connected to the router. I can connect both machines to each other via "connect to Server" in the go menu. I have installed the printer drivers on both machines and have had the printer hard line connected to both machines and printed fine however, I can't print off of my PowerBook when its plugged into the Tower. I have share printers selected in the system prefs. I did a lot of stuff but cannot get this to work. So I completely took all the printer stuff off the Print center on my PowerBook (the drivers are still there) The printer is now connected to my tower and works fine. Could someone tell me what I need to do form here to get the PowerBook to print without having to connect the printer directly to it? Thank you
