sometimes my comp decides to, on it's own, make the sound balance off-center, and i have to go into the system prefs and re-set it. anyone have that problem, or know how to fix it?

it's not like it's the same place every time, either. it's just completely random.

in case it matters: i've got a pbg4 12inch (non-dvi) running 10.2.6

When you attempt to change volume under a high load (y'know how the volume pane thing goes all nuts?) - that's when it happens.

Stupid bug that Apple should have fixed LONG ago.

It has been there since 10.2.0 and yeah I agree - Apple should have fixed this bug (and a number of other bewilderingly stupid OS X bugs) a looooong time ago.

speaking of bugs what about the ol'

'i can no longer drag anything bug'

I hate this..

and to this day I have no real easy way to repair it...

like right now my computer can't drag, and it is so annoying...

is there a way to repair this without using 3rd party utilities..?

Move a file. Just drop it in a folder, then move it back, or whatever.

Fixes it.
