I blew up my dock with Transparentdock 2.02, but restored it from the backup I'd made minutes prior to blowing it up. I downloaded Cleardock from Unsanity, since I've got their .ape manager installed anyway, and it works fine, and is freeware.
TransparentDock does more, but I don't need the extra stuff beyond just making the background go away. Nice to see the author so on the ball with the update, though.
