so i did the update, repaired permissions, restarted, ect, ect ...

then tried to re-apply TDock and my dock vanished completely

i've tried everything to get it back, trashing prefs, trashing every ref to TDock, repairing disk from CD, restoring prefs from BackUpUserPrefs ... restart after restart

the dock just won't show

can someone please help without telling me to do anything with the terminal?

much obliged

so now i've committed the cardinal sin of being lazy-arsed

you already asked about this, and you were advised to try Clear Dock, which you said you would. why ask advice, if you're just going to ignore it and do your own thing?

My eMac was running ClearDock pre 10.2.8 update.. Then I updated to 10.2.8, and Clear Dock was still working as per normal. No farting about required.
