If a Bank was using Microsoft-IIS/4.0 or 5.0 to serve up Internet Banking how vulnerable would it be to hacks?

Should we trust our Banks using M$ servers for our internet banking?

Would it be preferable that banks served up using Unix Apache?

I read a few days ago about some banks considering using Windoze as the system for handling ATM's. This personally worries me a great deal.

It should worry you. I personally don't want my financial information on a Windows server, especially if that server is operated by a bank. Some institutions are just targeted more than others, and banks are definitely in that category.
