I know Windows has an option to where if you select some text in a web-page and you select "Print Selection", it will only print that text and not the whole entire page/document....can OS X do this in any way, shape, or form?
Thanks.

There is a third party app that does this. I can't recall what it is at the moment. Look on versiontracker for something with web in the title I believe.

Yes you can, right out of the box with Mac OS X, free of charge.
1. Select the text you want to print.
2. Select "Services" menu from the browser application menu.
3. Select "TextEdit" from the "Services" menu.
4. Select "Open selection" from the "TextEdit" menu.
5. Hit comand-p or select "Print" from the "File" menu.
Presto

Nice solution. However it has its limitations, images don't work nor does advanced CSS decorations such as borders etc.

Using that same approach, you could also select "Make New Sticky Note" from the Services options as well....
Good suggestion!

You can do a screen capture of the area you want, which will include everything such as images, etc. Just hit Command-Shift-4 and select the area you want. Then print the resulting PDF file.
