Alright, so I've been getting this weird entry in my httpd error_log. It says:

(54)Connection reset by peer: getsockname

Anyone know what this means?

Anyone even browse this forum anymore?

" ECONNRESET 54 Connection reset by peer
A connection was forcibly closed by a peer. This nor-
mally results from the peer executing a shutdown(2)
call." from Here Best I could find soo far.

First off, thanks kampl. Secondly, what exactly is a forcible shutdown? I read the definition, but I'm still not quite grasping. Is it possible that someone is downloading a page and then changes their mind? And if so, why don't I see a lot more of those messages as I'm sure that happens a ton?

What I'm afraid of is that someone is hacking me, but I guess since they're shutting down their connection, they can't really be hacking me.

ONLamp I thought I saw it somewhere before. Nothing to worry about too much usually.
