ok i really had problems last days, my computer is really really laggy(when i type here it lags) i cant watch a movie trailer without lagging, my mouse lags, everything is slow!!! I cant play ghost recon anymore GhRRAAAA.

Heres what i see when i open up terminal

After i typed this:
lachanceedmondetal% head .cshrc
source /sw/bin/init.csh


huh??
Im in the process of learning UNIX , i dont know how to solve the problem myself so i need some UNIX guru to help me out in here.
Im really in for some hard waiting of panther so when i have it i can initialise everything but its going to be out in 2 month and i cant live with that... Help me plz.

It sounds like you setup Fink at one time and then either deleted it or changed the name of the folder it is in or something. Everything under /sw is related to Fink, and the init.csh is a script that you run at login to setup paths, etc so that Fink provided software will run.

That won't have anything to do with your computer running slowly or anything though. For that, I would recommend checking the "top" command and see if there are any odd processes running.

Yeah, I had this last week when I deleted Fink it's not related to your computer being slow at all.

run these:

top
&
sudo fs_usage

It seems to me that you have an app that uses a lot of disk. Or just try to reboot once.
