Hi, I just got a brand new powerbook 15". I need to transfer my internet explorer preferences from my old dell desktop into safari. Does anyone know how to do this, whether there is a program I need, or if i can just copy the bookmark folder into a folder on the mac? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

There's a program called Move2Mac for precisely that purpose. Apple sells it, as do all the big catalogs.
