I ran into a friend of mine running this theme on his PC:
http://www.jonmega.com/~iceman/vs/
My question, if you are going to go through so much trouble, why not just a mac?

Pathetic!!!!!!!!!! this words stands for PC! And, I know Mac wont develop a software that looks like PC and PC made this.. Obvious, you know who's better. Enough said.

I think it looks cool. By far the best Mac OS on Windows I've yet seen.

Guess if you can have the real thing you may as well make it look like one....
I wonder what the blue screen of death looks like with that theme?

No the Mac would probably just look out of place with all their other ghastly items....

I think it looks damn good for a windows theme, but I have some niggling questions. AFAIK Windows doesn't support true alpha blending and the Windows XP themes all have aliased rounded corners because of that. In this guys screenshots, the corners seem well rounded. Is that for real.
But, while I don't like Windows much, I don't think I would install and use something like this. My take is that if you're using Windows then use Windows. Xp is ugly but it's functional and you can work just fine with it.

The corners look decent actually but they they are just antialiased.
Stardock supports much nicer rounded corners:

One of my few major complaints with X is that it's so hard to theme... while most themes look ugly, I enjoy testing things out...

I agree. Windows is quirky enough, let alone Windows trying to be something else.

Windowblinds doesnt antialias the windows either. That SS is just tricking the eye because the corners blend in with the wallpaper. I think stardock said that antialiased titlebars will be available in longhorn.
Most other elements in an Msstyle or WB theme can be 32 bit, just not the titlebar.

Well, i was a Windows user. I used Stardock and Desktop X before.
It was amazng at the first place, i can make my Windows interface theme like OS9..
But after few hours, my Windows went super slow and hang... afterall, i have to uninstall the softwares and brought back my original Windows theme.
It is 100% useless... PC users can have Mac's themes, but not for long !
OHH, i really like this preview !!

I don't think that Microsoft developed this theme so I don't think it's fair to say that 'Mac' wouldn't develop a PC theme. However, if you take a look here I count no less than 2 Wiindow XP themes and 4 Windows inspired themes for *gasp* OSX!
