Ok, I do repair permissions from time to time... but a few days ago... my iTunes started acting wierd.
I press play, and nothing happens... doesn't matter if it's a mp3 on the HD, an audio CD, a mp3 backup CD... just stay there... not playing nothing.
Then I tried "repair permissions" and it started working again.
Today... it happened again... no nothing... repair permissions and it works again... I turned the computer off and left... now, tonight, it happened again... what's going on?
I'm running 10.2.6 w/ all updates up-to-date on a G4 533 DP 512 RAM.
Any ideas?

I've also had iTunes refuse to play on occasion. A reboot always fixed it. I don't think it has anything to permissions.

Repair the permissoins once a month. It fixes more than you would think. Its really surprising the odd thigns it fixes. Its the equivilent of rebuiding the desktop in OS9 all though this is what is required to maintain X.
