Sorry, this might be a stupid question to ask, but here goes:

If Panther 7B85 has been declared GM and it has been sent to manufacturing, that would mean it will prepped to arrive in the shops in a few weeks or so, right?

If that's the case, then why hasn't Apple announced it's going to on sale and started taking pre-orders like it did last year with Jaguar?

Good question, nobody really knows for sure....we'll just have to wait on Apple to make a statement...

I would happily pre-order now if I was able too.

I don't see a reason why Apple shouldn't announce NOW that Panther is ready (if it has gone GM), and start taking orders....
