It was about time, but I think the guys at Apple and ATi got this right this time around. This is regarding the position of the grid of the desktop when you select the icons to snap on the grid. In previous OS versions if you were driving a second monitor on a Radeon 8500, regardless of where the position of that monitor (or TV) was, the position of the grid on the desktop would off-set by a small margin to the right and as a result the icons on the far right end of the screen for example (of the main monitor) would end up half outside the screen space.
This appears to have been rectified in 6R73 (and the same stands true for Panther btw upto 7b80), which is always a welcome addition...But allow me to say...It took them a hell of a lot time to fix this bloody bug and I wouldn't put any money on whether now there's still something else wrong with the TV-output support (which has always been a tad lackluster btw)...
