I got YDL installed on my 12 inch powerbook today, but I'm having trouble having it recognize my modem. It picks up the ethernet interface, but it isn't noticing the modem interface. I've been going into the System Settings -> Network and into the Internet Configuration Program and tried to add a modem from there, but it never finds it. Is Sirius (YDL 3.0) missing the drivers? If so, does anyone have a link to where I can get them and (if possible) how to install them correctly (I can figure this out on my own if necessary)? Also, I haven't tried this, but should YDL properly mount my iPod as a firewire drive so I can use it to transfer the drivers from my OS X box with a network connection to my Linux box without one?

Thanks for any help you can provide,
Matt Fahrenbacher

Nevermind.... I'm working on it:

The biggest problem is getting the driver onto my linux partition.

If you have a Mac OS X machine around, you could share it's internet (NAT with DHCP), then you would get internet access with YDL. Then you could dl whatever you needed.

I actually have OS X on the same machine as my Linux install, so I just installed an ext2 kernel extension and moved it in there that way.

Too bad MOL does't support 10.3 yet (although it's not shipping, so not a big deal).

Thanks,
