I have a 9.2.2 CD that came with 10.1 I think. I used it to boot my 15" TiBook to install a Classic OS before installing Jaguar.

Now I am buying a Dual G5 and need Classic for 2 or 3 apps that have no X version.

How can I get Classic on my G5? Can I use my 9.2.2 CD, or does the version of the OS that comes with it include a Classic System Folder for 9.2.2?

Thanks,

Trygve

Doesn't it come with Classic? My PB12" came with Classic installed.

Will the installer allow me to add it, or can I only do a factory restore?

The system restore CD's (or DVD, not sure which you'll get) will allow you to add classic on the computer if its not there already.

I understand that the G5 doesn't support the classic or Dual boot. I think I read this at the apple site, that is why I bought the G4.
