please someone oh!!! i sound like the most desperate fool but i need my itunes back. every time i go to click on the itunes icone in the dock i get the aforementioned message.

That's the main music for your ballsack? Wow, we better get you fixed up then.

Somewhere in your home folder, most likely ~/Documents/iTunes is a file called iTunes 4 Music Library. It's corrupted, so throw it away.

When you relaunch, you'll have to drag all your mp3s into the iTunes window again to see them, as the file you just tossed had all that info.

thank you. great. i did what you said. i can now open my itunes but now i have a folder on my desktop called "iTunes 4 Music Library" that i can't seem to open or drag anywhere. i double click and nothing happens.
btw...i also seem to have lost my aquisition folder in itunes. did i lose everything i've ever downloaded from acquisition?
