Question for those running 10.3:

It's my understanding that for all systems listed under the Finder's new Network browser you must click "Connect" and then supply a username/password. Furthermore, it's my understanding that it does not store this connection across a reboot or logout/login and it will not retrieve stored passwords in the Keychain.

So... my question is this: Is there any way to automatically login to the systems in the Network browser when you login so the shares can be ready for browsing? Having to hit connect and repeatedly supply login information is bound to become annoying.

I have 10.3 and I was wondering the same. Why doesn't it save the passwords?
