OMG this is soo pissing me off, why is it when I hold option go to restart it gets held up because ichat asks if i wanna quit because I have chats open, is there any way to disable this crap? Y is my IM client stopping my system, talk about bad design.

All apps that request user interaction when quitting will hold up a logout, restart, or shutdown sequence. It's designed that way to prevent users from losing unsaved data accidentally.
