Geez- ya switch disks on install. Big Deal. This isn't Windows, it's not like you're going to be re-installing it every 4-6 weeks.

It makes keeping discs at hand. Imagine keeping just ONE disc, compared to say, 2 or 3.

When you have as many CDs as I do, ANYTHING to cut down helps.

Well, it would be a bitch for some of us... Many of our file servers only have CD-ROM drives... (they don't need DVD)

I say keep it on CDs until only DVD systems are supported.

If you can't keep track of 4 CDs, what makes you think that you can keep track of 1

That being said, I have around 20+ disks that say OS X on them... beta, 10.0, 10.1, 10.2 and soon panther...

It would be a nice option...

I think it should be an option for sure. I know I'd go for it.

I would vote it to offer as an option, though most of us have DVD's don't we?
-Mac G4 867, 240Gb HD, +1gb Ram . OS9.2.2 and OS X 10,2,8
-iPod 10 Gb
-PB 12'' 1Ghz 768 RAM + AirPort Extreme OS X 10.2.8

Options are nice, but Apple isn't known for them.

I don't have any DVD capable Macs, so I would only the CD version. But if a DVD version was available, I think a LOT of people would benefit, plenty to make it worth pressing both types of media.
