It seems like their front page does, but I could just be going out on a far fetched theory here.

Panther is being release on the 24th of Oct, one of the days in Donnie Darko. Also, their countdown timer is exact like Donnie Darkos was for when the world was going to end: days:hours:min:sec. But while ending in one parallel universe, another started, so maybe this shows Panther is beign reborn or something?

Just a far fetched thought....

I actually thought of Donnie Darko when I saw the countdown too, but didn't notice the Oct. 24 date thing. I think we all need a drink!

I don't think they're modeling their website after a B movie.

Can I join you? We could have one almighty international piss-up!

I didn't see the Donnie Darko connection myself, but I get it now. Good film too - totally fcuked up though!

[Edit: In case you didn't quite get it, the list of smilies was a miniature storyline starting with alcohol...and ending in tears! ]

Cool

Where in Glasgow? I'm currently living in Paisley (not Largs as my profile states), but will hopefully within the next month or so, move to Newmains near Motherwell...

They've done countdowns for other stuff, and days:hours:minutes:seconds is kind of standard for countdown timers...

I dunno about the other stuff, but that one seems like a REAL stretch.

I was mildly disappointed to see that if you change your date to 19:59 on 24/10/03 and let it count down to zero, it just starts counting upwards again. I suppose it's deliberate and they'll almost certainly change it nearer the time, but still ...

I too thought of Donnie Darko at the count down and love that movie.

<shameless plug>
In fact if you refresh my website enough www.truepop.com/index.php you will see the count down in the random quotes display in the top right corner.
</shameless plug>

But Oct 24 being one of the days is a reach too far.

Worse than "Hercules in New York", featuring our newest celebrity governor? Worse than "Blind Fury" with Rutger Hauer? Worse than "Over the Top" with Stalone? Worse than "Sidekicks" with Chuck Norris? Worse than ... well, you get the idea.
