Panther and Shipping Options from Apple Store

I am interested in purchasing Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther).

On the Apple Store site it says "Order today for evening delivery on October 24"

Does this mean that even if I use the standard shipping (free) that the product will be delivered to my door on October 24, 2003 (Apple will ship it early enough so that it will arrive at my doorstep on October 24).

The way the language is, it appears that Apple will ship Panther Upgrades out however they prefer (no matter what shipping option is chosen) to make sure that delivery is on 10/24

Anyone have any opinions or answers?
