Has anyone tried the Panther VPN with RSASecureID?
It would be great if this worked and one could mount shares. My question is once one is logged in via VPN, does one each time need to mount each shared drive manually?

Since all of Apple uses SecurID to connect when away from the Apple intranet, that would be a "yes".

Well although yes is comforting. I really assumed it did work, but I was wondering if anyone who has used it could provide some feedback with detailed information. I spend several hours a day on a VPN and have had some flaky connections with some clients or it's been fairly slow with all the compression etc going on.

So, has anyone actually used it for several hours at a time?

Otherwise, I'll provide feedback when I try it tonight.

The last build I tried VPN w/ was 7B74, and VPN didn't work for me. It would fail, over and over, when it reached the 'authenticating password' part. Perhaps it's something on the IT side where I work that is causing the issue, but I'm waiting until the retail build before I hit them up.

Well, I tried using the VPN last night with no success. It tries to contact the server with no sucess. I can ping the server and connect using MS's VPN client, but I can't with Apples.

So, I'm not sure if this works or not.
