So will iChat AV Expire on the 24th?

From what i understood iChatAV will be available for free to Panther upgrade users and others have to pay $29 to keep it after Panther is released. Anyone remember the date it was supposed to expire?

I'm pretty sure that it lasts "until the end of the year", otherwise known as 12/31.

The public beta will expire on December 31.
After that, you can either use the final version by upgrading to Panther, or pay $29.99 for the Jaguar version.

Anyone know of the enhancements or improvements that the 10.3 version has over the beta? (I'm guessing the new Jag version should be exactly the same as the 10.3 versions.
For that matter, will you be able to buy the Jag version of iChatAV once 10.3 ships? I know you can use the somewhat buggy beta untill 12/31/03 (I haven't had any probs personally). Can you buy it before the beta expires?

The 10.3 version has big improvements! It doesn't open and therefore keeps you from wasting your time chatting with people! What a lifesaver!
(my exp anyway... I'm not bothering trying to fix it since I have a new-to-me iBook coming soon)

Hehe. That's my problem - I love my mac and I love iChat, but the only other person I know with an AIM or .Mac account is a buddy from work. We're a lonely group of Two
