Can I reload my Apps after upgrade?

I have a Al 17" and it has QuickBooks and other originally factory installed Apps, I will zero my drive for Panther and how do I load the Apps from my original rescue disk?

Copy them back to your Applications folder?

Note some of the factory installed apps that were shareware but fully enabled for the shipping version may want you to pay $$$ when you do this (e.g. Snapz Pro).
