Anyone know what is up with Fink on Panther? The Fink site says they will be working on it once they get Panther builds. Does anyone have any more info than that? Are they going to get it out when Panther ships?
They are rebuilding packages. Last I heard was that they are close, but not yet. In the mac forums on arstechnica there is a call for volunteers to help with this.

the status info on the Fink homepage has been updated:
A new release which will support 10.3 is under active development.
If you want to know what is happening exactly read the fink-devel mailing list. If you really want to help, read this full thread (make sure to read the answers to that article too).
It looks like the fink developers are getting ready for a release on the date of Panther release or soon after that.
