I needed to reload OSX on my new pb 15 al from the system cd(10.2.7). Either aquafix and/or 10.2.8 screwed somthing up and it wouldn't reboot.

Well now that I finished the archive and install I don't seem to have bluetooth. Its not in the prefpanes and the B on my menu bar has a squiggly line thru it. I'm unable to activate it.

I see the bluetooth prefpane on the disk just not in the systems preference and the modem status shows (but grayed out) the usb bluetooth modem adapter. It wasn't grayout before.

Any thoughts or suggestions, oh I also loaded 10.2.8 back on and still don't have bluetooth, so it must have been the aquafix app that messed up my system

Fixed it
I needed to run the software install inside the utilities folder (inside the app folder.)

what update are you speaking of? i just reinstalled 10.2 and upgraded it to 10.2.6 and there is no more Bluetooth pref in the pref pane.
