My Trash started to refuse to accept any file dragged into its Dock icon, so i can't delete any file by moving it to the Trash.

The only way i found is to use the contextual menu "Move to Trash", but then a dialog pops-up warning me the file will be immediately deleted.

I did repair the disk privileges with Disk Utility, but my insane Trash still refuses any... trash.

I also deleted the hidden root folders "Trashes" and "Trash", but after a restart, the Trash still won't work.

Any suggestions?

well my trash doesn't show any files in it, so i accidently deleted it, thinking they are just temps or something. Next thing i know i had lost all my music files.

Not good.

Issue resolved: i create a new hidden .Trash folder at my own user directory, then edited its privileges to be own by me, and now i can re-trash again
