Creat a new AIM screen name

You know if you don't want people to IM you, you can ignore them. Or you can tell them.
Personally, I'd tell them, but I'm an ar*ehole.

anyone that doesn't want people bothering them tell me and I'll bother them and tell them or we can just play a joke on them (make a new screen name and pretend to be a friend of theirs, etc.)

Does AIM still support that inane warning system? You could just fire up a few copies of the official client, hail the people that are bothering you from 3 or 4 accounts, all of which claim to be a friend of theirs, and once the person has sent messages to all the accounts, start mass-warning him from all the accounts until you bump his warning level to 100%.

I used to do that too. Actually got someone who warned me to 35% just playing around with me, but boy do I have a surprise for him.

Not OS X related. The question was answered so there's no point moving it.
