Any suggestions are appreciated. I am still learning my way around the MAC. I have a Mixed network at home, two PC's, a Win2K Server, and Two Mac's. Originally I had a Cannon BJC 6000 Connected to the W2K server for print serving, worked good for the PC, not for the MAC's. I then bought an ethernet print server for the Canon but MAC's still dont like (I guess the built in print drivers are limited on OS X?). I am willing to buy a new printer (Not Going to Spend 300 + on a networked Post Script printer), any suggestions on what I should get and how to connect it so that everyone can use?

Thanks,

Ant

Mac OS X can connect to Windows-shared printers. Search for threads about it. Many have had success stories, and many have had horror stories. It's a matter of trying out what's been discussed and seeing if it works for you.

You should not have a problem getting it going using CUPS, which is the native OS X printing foundation.
See this link and for more info a google search yields a lot of other info.
It has worked for me, printing to printers connected to XP or Win2k servers that don't have an AppleTalk interface.

You're gonna need Gimp-Print. Then you should be able to print either way you described.
