I've wondered how to do this for some time and now I need to do it for my job. How does one mail a full web page, a la Apple's commercial emails and sundry other junk I get in my inbox each day? Apple's mail uses plain text or "enriched text" which is not quite HTML, and Safari doesn't have an option to email a web page. Do you have to use Netscape to do this? Thanks!

With Safari open go to the menubar.

Safari>services>mail>send selection or send to

Is that what you mean?

If you use Entourage, you can use this little script to send out a full web page either from your current selection in your browser, or from a saved html file. It hides groups and has a lot of other options.

There's also a multitude of other useful scripts on the author's site.

Send Complex HTML

ccrider - That's pretty dang close. I'd prefer something that worked with Mail/Safari, but I have Entourage and IE so this is a workable alternative. Thanks!

"HTML is meant for the WWW; not for mailing lists, Usenet newsgroups postings, proper business E-mail correspondence and preferably not for personal E-mail unless the recipient is expecting it."

There a plug-in for Mail.app called MailPicture [http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/12886] and one feature that it has is "send as HTML"

You will hear MUCH about why you shouldn't send HTML email, but the truth is, they can look cool if done well. Why shouldn't email come in formatted with hyperlinks, links to email, photos properly placed etc. etc. etc.

It's not like we aren't using standards...
