1) Installed X11
2) Installed Fink and Fink Commander
3) Launched Fink Commander loaded the Table, selected 'Mozilla-Browser' , hit the 'Install Binary' button, a few hours later Mozilla had finished downloading, and began the installation process, everything was going cool until it Fink tried to launch Mozilla which resulted in some Mozilla crash.

Well i have no idea what all this means, all i want is to try to get Mozilla 1.2 or higher with JRE 1.4.1 or higher installed under Linux NOTE Mac OS X Mozilla and Java Dont work for intended use ie hushmail

Does anything work on the Mac?

Anyways what are my other options? Try to use Fink to download, install Gnome, in the hope it doesnt crash out with some error, (on 56k here sooo slow) then download install mozilla hoping again it doesnt fail??

Install Yellow Dog Linux or Mandrake 9.1 on a spare partition (it can do that right - install on 1 partition like OS X without all the home/swap/usr partitions?) and try to get mozilla 1.2.x an Java 1.4.1 installed?

Or just sell this freakin Mac an get gayassed PC to run a crappy M$ OS (least hushmail works properly on PC's)

No need to reply, this Hushmail thing on PPC hardware just isnt going to work anytime soon regardless of the options, there simply isnt a PPC J2re newer than 1.3.1 for ANY Linux distro. Thus far, my only option is either winblows (want to avoid that like the plague) on intel hardware or a Linux Distro on Intel hardware since J2re 1.4.2 is the current version for ALL x86 Linux distro's.

I tried really hard and spent an exhaustive amount of time trying to find a solution on the Mac PPC hardware to get hushmail working. The requirement is Mozilla 1.2 or newer and J2re 1.4.1 or newer :-(
