Hi,

I had Windows login working fine so that my wife could log in to her account on my Mac from her windoze laptop.

I then needed to share one particular folder in my account with her. I used 'Sharepoints' to set this up.

The new folder is available to her now but her own account is not.

What did I do wrong?

Thanks!

Simon

My guess is that you used SWAT to add the share point, and this then over-wrote the configuration file that Apple's tool had created. A simple solution would be to be to go back into SWAT and add her home directory as another share point. Otherwise, turning "Windows File Sharing" off, and then on again may well re-write the configuration file (without your share point).

larkost,

Thanks for your reply but I don't know what SWAT is.

I used 'Sharepoints' to share the additional folder in my account. <http://hornware.com/sharepoints/>

Stoping and restarting Windows login doesn't seem to do anything, except now I don't see a folder called "Printers" on the win laptop...

Can you explain a bit further?

Thanks

Simon
