Does anyone know how to set up the clock so when you log in or turn on your mac, the clock is up and running in the dock?

Is there an app for the dock that tells you when you've been sent a new email message?

Is there an app like menumeters (it shows network, disk I/O, memory usage) that runs in the dock?

Thanks in advance to all who answer.

1.) Make "Clock" a login item to launch when you log in...

2.) Mail.app displays a little red circle with how many new messages you have when it receives messages. Entourage will bounce up and down if you so choose when new mail arrives...

3.) I think their are tons, not sure since I don't run any of those. Have you tried to look some up at MacUpdate.com?

Also, you may like Konfabulator (http://www.konfabulator.com/) if you like fun GUI looking notices and system information to be displayed....

Hope that helps.

Login items is exactly what I was looking for (I'm new to OS X). I thought it would be under startup items like it is for classic.

Thanks.
