GnuPG constantly wanting to generate keys

Ok, this is driving me crazy.

I installed Panther last night (yes, I can have it early I'm a member of ADC), and today I installed GnuPG 1.2.3. I generated my new keys and all that went fine.

But now, every time I start a new terminal session GPG launches and wants to generate a new key.

I've rebooted several times; I've run repair permissions; I've deleted everything relating to GnuPG I could find and reinstalled it. I don't know what else to do, this is driving me crazy.

Somewhere there is a configuration file that is set up to launch GPG every time a new terminal session is launched, but I sure can't find it. Any suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated.

~/.profile or ~/.tcshrc ?

There does not appear to be anything in the .profile file that pertains to this. And since the default shell in Panther is BASH I didn't look at the .tcshrc file.
