I just got .Mac
i use entourage to check my email

i am pretty sure i have all the settings in correctly but i cannot send mail using my .mac, i can receive fine

i have
mail.mac.com
smtp.mac.com

for mail settings
same problem on os x's mail as well

please help!

Are you using any sort of authentication? If not, try that. If you are, then get rid of it.

Any errors? If so, what are they?

i went to the .mac support page and it said its because of my isp (cox.net) blocking port 25
and it said if i switched to the port that my isp uses..i would be ok

anyone have any ideas? im waiting in line for cox support

Just change your SMTP settings from smtp.mac.com to one of the following depending on your area:

http://support.cox.net/custsup/email...settings.shtml
