Does panther solve a problem where external Firewire disk drives spin down to standby mode after x amount of minutes (usually 5) in Jagwire? Actually i think this issue effects all drives other than the boot drive.

If so how is this solved? A pref in 'Energy Saver' for external drives?

There's a checkbox in the energy saver preference pane (Jaguar) which you can choose whether or not to put hard drives to sleep....

I've got mine unchecked and it my HD's don't sleep.
