I really don't get why it doesn't work.

Safari quits on launch...

In prefs, If I select ethernet thingie, it won't me select the DHCP option (it's not even in the menu)

there is PPP (wtf, PPP over Ethernet?!) and Manual.

Help!

I also had this problem and looked aroud quite extensively on the web etc. The only way to solve the problem is to reinstall the system software.
