Upgrading from Jag+Devtools. What happens when I install XCode?

My Pismo currently has 10.2.8 plus the developer tools installed. When I install Panther I plan on doing an upgrade rather than an archive install. My question is, what happens when I install XCode? Does it automatically remove the Jag developer tools or do they co-exist?

They co-exist, but don't expect to be able to run PB It's a shame cos I don't like the interface of Xcode, I much preferred PB's "one window for all" ideology. I've only played with Xcode for about 15mins last night, so it might still be possible, certainly wasn't obvious though.

PB is not supported in Panther. Apple wants you to use Xcode.
If you don't like the interface, TELL APPLE.

Why not just delete the /Developer directory before you do the install? Pretty easy to do.

Did they improve the debugging capabilities in the final version of XCode? i.e. do watch windows retain their contents between debugging sesssions?

1) Launch XCode
2) Open a project or create a new one
3) Click the toolbar button titled Show Editor (by default it should already be in your toolbar, if not, add it, then click it)
4) Navigate to code you want to edit in the lefthand pane
5) Resize the splitter for the editor as needed
Enjoy!

That's fine, but how do I get the debugger and the stdIO into that same window. It insists on opening separate windows for them.
